Rally at House of Representatives Febraury 7th 2013
A number of Activists turned out Arizona House of Representatives on Thursday to Rally against John Kavanagh who authored a resolution that would put medical marijuana back on the ballot. Voters narrowly approved it in 2010. Rain Baker, director for Phoenix NORML, a group that advocates for medical marijuana, said another vote would be a waste of tax payers money and time. The economy has prospered in Arizona since it’s passing. Many new businesses have opened their doors employing 1000′s of people hydro stores and smoke shops have tripled in the valley since it’s passing. Teens using marijuana has dropped as well as prescription drug use.
